About Us

We met in 2000 while Alli was working as a legal secretary and Paul was working as a property manager.  We married 15 months later in October 2001.  In the 13 years we've been married, we've moved 8 times, started 4 different businesses and traveled.  Our little boy Carter was born in August 2012 and placed into our arms by his precious birth mom.  We love open adoption and are so thankful for it in our lives.

Paul currently runs his own property management company and Alli owns her own accounting business.  They are both lucky enough to work from home, which allows for lots of time to spend with Carter.

Both Paul and Alli have family that live close by, and they enjoy seeing them often.  Carter is adored by his aunts and uncles and there are many cousins to play with.  Carter sees both sets of grandparents regularly and loves spending time with them.  They also have a close knit group of friends that they enjoy getting together with and playing games.  Some of their favorite games are Settlers of Catan, 7 Wonders, Magical Athlete, and Killer Bunnies.  This also allows time for Carter to play with many children his own age.

When we go on date nights, we enjoy trying new restaurants, going to comedy clubs, to karaoke and to the movies.  We also host a Halloween party at our house every year that is always a great time!  We love taking Carter to try new things and watching his face light up with excitement.
